It's about discovering what your brush can do.

A twist can become a flower.
Once you understand your brushes, pressure, movement, water and colour, you can begin creating flowers that come from your imagination rather than copying something that already exists.
And then we'll bring those flowers together into your own loose botanical composition.

Hello and Welcome! I'm Aparna a watercolour artist and creative educator based in Mumbai.
Thank you for being here and embarking on an artistic journey with me.
I love breaking down the things that can feel intimidating about watercolour and making them approachable, playful and achievable.
In Brushes to Blooms, I'll help you slow down enough to notice what your brush is actually doing — and then use those discoveries to make your own creative decisions.
Because sometimes the most important thing we need to learn isn't how to paint better.
It's how to create more freely.

What to bring: All art materials will be provided for you to use during the workshop.
We recommend bringing:
