Brahmakunda Talao
The Jakhmata Devi temple was constructed by Juhu resident Raghunath Putlaji Rane in 1896.
As Rane began digging a well adjacent to the temple, he found an idol of Devi Sitala for which he built another temple.

Did you know...
The well was named Brahmakunda because of an impression of Brahma's lotus foot found while excavating the site.

The construction of the well is similar to the Harappan architecture and has a flight of steps with broad landings running from all four sides of the well.

Home to a family of turtles, even during summer, the water level touches the base, but miraculously never dried up completely.

ISKCON
This magnificent temple complex is one of the most visited in the country. In the early 70’s when Juhu was considered a remote and obscure part of the city, to envision a temple rising here was beyond anyone’s imagination.

Fighting against many odds Srila Prabhupada acquired the Juhu property and promised Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Deities who were then housed in a small shack that he would build a beautiful temple for them.
Srila Prabhupada requested his disciples to construct a silver and teakwood sinhasana for Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari on a marble altar, the temple with marble domes more than a hundred feet high.

Bhukanwala Joggers & Walkers Park
Developed by the Bhukanwala family for the Juhu residents and maintained by the JVPD association. A designated children’s play area, a mud track for jogger’s and a paved track for walks. Swings for the elderly and chairs for regular walker’s to congregate make this a meeting ground for the senior citizens as well.

And as all of this happens a small bell rings at the back…. NO ENTRY after the 3rd bell….. Have you ever noticed where this bell is?
